I have Mono, and yes, it sucks :]

On Tuesday I noticed that my tonsils had swollen up and my dad took me to the doctor. Originally I was put on two types of medication- one was to reduce inflammation and swelling, the other was used to take away the pain. The medication wasn't really helping and I went back yesterday because I wasn't convinced that this was just Mono- it seems to me that there's also an infection.. Apparently Mono can just be that ugly 0.o

So my medication has been changed. I'm still on the pills for inflammation and swelling (well, I took the last ones this morning <.< and I was put on a stronger pain killer. Sadly the only real cure is bed rest, and I'm kind of a work-a-holic...

The only person who fully understands my situation is Jessica- because even when we're sick we clean, avoid naps like the plague, and we still put make-up on! Some people are so serious- I told Max that I had plucked my eyebrows (I probably plucked A HAIR,) and he made it sound like I was going to die -.-

I go back to see the doctor on Monday and we get to discuss the earliest I can go back to school... And I'm not looking forward to all that make-up work :]
